Chepstow Showcase
Mirroring our Shop Local campaign, the aim of The Chepstow Showcase is to increase footfall by demonstrating what the town centre has to offer.
Dee Griffith, who runs department store Herbert Lewis, county councillor Jacqui Sullivan, who runs Artists Corner, area services officer and Tutshill WI chairman Debbie McCarty and Monmouthshire leisure centre manager Sally Turner are organising the event at Chepstow Leisure Centre on Wednesday, November 18 from 5.30pm to 10pm.
It began as a small idea for a fashion show but will include music, shopping and live entertainment compered by opera singer Karl Daymond as his alter-ego the Rt Mdm Rhondda Tannoy. Cllr Jacqui Sullivan said: "We want to put Chepstow on the map and show what it has to offer. We think with the help of the people of the town we can beat the economic downturn and get people shopping locally."
Our print division provided posters, leaflets as well as tickets for the event.
